I have recognized lately that over-thinking things is usually a way to put off making a decision or commitment. So I'm trying to listen to my instincts more and more on any given matter.
I had a "first world" issue recently when I saw a wallpaper swatch I was very drawn to, then dillied and dallied, second-guessing to be certain. In the end, all it took was a quick tour through some recent photos on my phone to see the obvious:
Here is a photo of a sink I fancied at The America Club in Kohler, WI this summer. Also, my phone case, a printout of one of those french lady coloring books and a swatch of my new powder room wallpaper. As you can see, all the same flavor. |
Knowing on three separate occasions I picked, from a wide array of choices in each category, almost the exact same design made all of it quite factual.
No need to second-guess.
