I think we may have gone 'round the bend on this one.
These overly-flowery description of new shops, websites or products have a whiff of that "dot com" feeling to them. You know, all-concept-and-no-substance.
I'm sure some of them deliver. For instance, I don't think Etsy would exist without this new language. In fact, the hipster-y, vintage, small-batch vibe is a whole new genre, speaking to the over-produced, big box shopping experience. I get it.
But I, for one, have reached my saturation point. This article captures my fatigue perfectly.
