We've had quite a few gloomy days in a row here in Chicago and it reminded me of one of my favorite paintings at The Art Institute.
This painting was recently returned to it's gallery with much fanfare, after a historic restoration brought it back to life. A Thousand and One Swabs - The Transformation of Paris Street, Rainy Day is a short video featuring behind-the-scenes footage of the cleaning of one of Gustove Caillebotte's most famous paintings.
Speaking of rain: check out this cool umbrella that comes in a bottle, allowing you to roll up/contain your wet umbrella and store it in your bag.
