You may have seen or read about Scott Thrift's first project "The Present", which is "an annual clock that takes an entire year to complete a cycle" (available at the MoMa store here). Now he has created "Today", a clock that runs over a 24-hour period like a regular clock, but uses color rather than numbers to denote the time of day. His Kickstarter video explains more.
