When I was a few months away from our move back to Chicago from New York, I was asked by a woman in my church group about how the prep work was going.
I explained to her that I was not quite ready to face it all; not in the right head space yet to spearhead the whole thing. But I was almost there.
"Oh," she said. "You're getting ready to get ready".
YES! And thank you, lady from my church group, for not only understanding what I meant but for giving me the language to describe to that part of the process.
The song in the video above made me think of this exchange. I think it's quite catchy.
