Ahhh...Spring(-ish)!

There is no happier a people than mid-westerners at the first sign of spring.

We learned long ago this in no means translates into sunny and 70.  We will gladly take the temperature spikes into the low 60's with a smile on our face and a skip in our step, knowing the Great Greening has begun.

And this springtime recipe from The Londoner looks like just the right reason to shop for beautiful veggies and yank out the old Spiralizer.

Now, I hear some of you saying:  I'm not getting another kitchen doohickey that takes up a lot of room but only does one thing (you heard me, panini press).  But I have found this particular doohickey, in fact, is worth the space. And it folds down to fit in a deep drawer easily.

I ordered mine from Williams-Sonoma for $40.  I quickly found a website called, ahem, Inspiralized, that helped me learn proper use, along with a quick couple of recipes.

You'll see.  I know my aunt reached almost intervention-level addiction when she first got hers.  It's fun, different and a great way to add new things to your recipe arsenal.
